The great Bon Jovi ticket debacle....

buying tickets for a Bon Jovi show is something that has become a competition. NOT a fun one either....it's dog eat dog or something to the point of....HOW much does it cost for VIP? Maybe I'll just leave my kidney....

Holy cats! Nothing beats their VIP for bad feelings and arguing among fans. For front row and you can honestly BUY front row with all sorts of goodies is a mere $1725. The catch? You can only buy VIP tix in sets of 2, 4 or 6. Good luck trying to find another fan willing to drop that much for a concert.

Anyway, I have my 2 tix--Nashville and Chicago. When I tried to buy the Nashville ticket, something happened at the ticket site that BSWJBJ uses and 2 minutes into the it....the "presale sold out" message pops us. Whatever. So I bought my ticket through TicketMaster the next day and settled for an okay seat. I do wish I could've done VIP, but it wasn't in the cards....again.

The Chicago presale went off with no problems. This BSWJBJ fanclub member is sitting in the 36th row in section 5 on the field. There couldn't be a better spot I guess.

What has happened to concerts and Bon Jovi? Why are they on this money making machine? It's not like they need it. I guess they sleep well at night knowing that over 1/2 of their VIP packages sold out. It's money and I hear it talks.

The one good thing about going to Bon Jovi is that I'm on vacation both times. I've taken days off before and after each concert and I plan on enjoying myself at the hotel. Add a bit of Starbucks along the way and I'm good.
