The MySpace issue....

like this will ever go away! ;-)

However, I am able to login to MySpace--after a one month absence.

This problem was bigger than my ISP ever figured because it WAS a server issue. For once, MSN did not lie! ;-) The diagnostics always said it was a server issue and it was.

To make a LONG story short(er), last Friday and this Monday, I received a call from a woman at my ISP. She was curious on my MS problem. Actually, she is a VP calling to make sure that the server dudes (level 5) had the problem fixed! She issued me a new pin number to call her back at. To speak to levels' 4 & 5, you have to call a different line and use a code (pin) number.

This woman, Karen, goes on to say that she issued out an email saying that the problem had to be fixed on Monday! No ifs, ands or buts about about it. It had gone on way too long and with the social networks like MySpace and Facebook, Twitter and others threatening to block them, she knew they would lose customers if this happened.

My login problem was only with MySpace. Lucky me! I had the server with the MS problem. I say lucky in a sarcastic way. My daughter also has a MS profile and was using her cell to access it. Shot the bill up $100 extra, so it inspired us to get a new cell contract. Albeit, the cell contract now has unlimited web access, we learned that the 25 MB a month allowed on the $10 plan sucks. It just isn't enough.

Best part of this whole issue? With the new phones the family uses them and *I* get the computer! Go me!!

  1. :) Well it least it all worked out! You should make them pay for the $100 extra. It's the least they can do for all you've put up with!

  2. I am going to write to them and complain that it took too long to fix.
I spent way too much time at levels 1 & 2. The techs did not elevate the problem at all. By the time I got to 4 & 5, it was nearly March.
