This has nothing to do with Bon Jovi.
A while back I posted that one of my cats, Patches, is sick. She has heart disease. Now however, I think she is getting worse.
She's thin and scrawny and vomits everyday! When I say EVERYDAY, it's what I mean. I'm not using that as a term.
So my next decision is do I put her to sleep?
I've had a sickly cat before and it's hell. I'm at my wits end. Part of me is ready to end her and my misery and the other part is not.
I don't want to say good bye, but I may have to.
My vacation is coming up in just over a week and it was to be a good time, but now it could be a disaster.
I don't know if a diet change is even possible at this point. She may be too far gone. I haven't talked to her vet yet, but I have to say that right now, if I'm this far in even talking about it, the end may be near.
(((hugs))) you know I went through this a couple of years ago with my cat Sheba who was 21. I didn't want to say goodbye but I just really felt it was time. I know the decision isn't an easy one but I want you to know I'm here to listen. (((hugs))) again sweet friend!
ReplyDeleteThanks girl! It means a lot to hear this from friends.
ReplyDeleteUsually my husband is the one to say, that it's time to let them *the cat* go, but now it's me. And if you know how much I love my cats, that's hard to believe.
Trust me, I don't want to say goodbye just yet. We have many more years, I can hope.
I did read that cats with HCM *heart disease* have less stomach trouble when fed Wellness food. I'm heading out to PetCo., tomorrow to get some.
