So I entered this contest to win a trip to Boston to see Bon Jovi and some things that happened really showed me how rigged contests can be.
To make a long story short, to be entered into the contest, you had to correctly identify 10 songs in order. Snippets of Jovi songs.
It took me 5 days, but I got it done and was proud of myself. I received verification from the radio station that I was correct and was entered into the contest.
The day before the winner was selected, a lady called and was verifying information. I asked how many got the code right and she said 100. Okay, so my chance is 1 in 100 that I will win? Oh no....we are only putting 10 names in the hat to win the prize.
........????.......
Gee, makes me feel pretty darn lucky to have been selected as one of ten.
Those other 90 people....a great big sorry charlie. You wasted your time.
Pass this on to other Bon Jovi fans....and be leery of contests.
