June 20, 2012, Geoff Tate fired from Queensryche...What the?

I'm going to miss Geoff singing in Queensyche. I truly am. For the life of me, I cannot grasp what has happened to these guys, but it is not something for fans to figure out or grasp. It's something that the 5 of them know and maybe one day, the fans will hear what happened. At that point, it won't even matter anymore because both parties will have moved on. Honestly though, I cannot go to a Queensryche concert anymore. I do not want to see another singer up there singing songs from the old QR. I realize it has been done time and time again by other bands and for those fans who go just to hear the hits and don't care who is singing, I guess it is fine. I am not one of those fans though. A couple of my favorite songs: The Lady Wore Black Take Hold of the Flame And the last one, a favorite from Operation: MindCrime *I* think Geoff owns this song. Eyes of a Stranger I'm still in shock over this. However, what's done is done. It's time for a new chapter. This is a photo I took on GT's acoustic tour in Chicago at Mayne Stage. I do plan on returning to his solo concerts.
