Writing down 1000 words is hard to do. Truly it is. I recently entered a contest that Richie Sambora is running on his Twitter/Instagram account.
You select a word from the song lyrics he has posted and from the photos submitted, Richie will select the photos he wants in his video. Sounds interesting, but after writing 1000 words, how do you take a photo of it? Good question and I think my photo is a fail.
I'm not posting the photo here since it is a contest entry. I may have to try and take the photo again, but don't know if I can.
Here is what I have down:
Things I have said and read in 1000 words. This will not be easy, but will try and make it fun. Who rocks your world? What rocks your world? Music is life. Music is fun and relaxing. Music can be loud and obnoxious. Traveling is the best part of a vacation and then relaxing and pools. Hanging out with your friends or being alone. Go places. Life quotes are good for your soul. They make you think, and here are a few. Find something you love to do and you’ll never have to work a day in your life. It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness. Wherever you go, go with all your heart. If you spend your whole life waiting for the storm, you’ll never enjoy the sunshine.- Morris West Dance as though no one is watching, Love as though you have never been hurt, Sing as though no one can hear you, Live as though Heaven is on earth. Life isn’t an adventure that should be taken fast, take it slow live your life, enjoy the days you have because you never know when your days will be numbered. Do you have faith? Do you live in harmony with nature and with family? Your friends? Are you loved? Will you love? How is your life these days? Words should be a part of your life and never to be daggers to hurt others with. Others have been hurt in the past, more will be hurt in the future. Do your part to not be a part of that. Be positive. Slow down and think. Life is too short. Do you dream? Fairy tales are real. Not because they tell us dragons exist, But that they can be defeated. Do you have nightmares? Are you scared of the future? Are you happy with your past? Today is the first day of the rest of your life, make it work for you. Never regret anything in life because what you’ve done in life has made you the person you are today. Do what is right. Take the time to enjoy the little things. Relax, love and rejoice. Rainbows come out AFTER the storm. Life is just what you make it and life is just what you want it to be. Make your life a happy one full of love, not despair. Treat others as you want to be treated. The higher the mountain, greater the obstacle, sweeter the victory. Wonderful words to live by. Patience is a virtue. Actions speaks louder than words. Confucius say: where ever you go, go with all your heart. That is a great saying. This is a quote from a person most people have heard of. Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you'll see them all around you. In order to lead the symphony, you need to turn your back to the audience. That is something I have not thought of, however, it is so true. Listen to what is around you. Listen to nature, your child, your spouse. You will hear what they are saying if you listen. Be the change you want to see in the world. I could never love where I could not respect. Are any of these words meaningful? Do they make you think? We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. Think for yourself and feel the walls come down. People don’t have limits, we only think we do. Living life and giving life. Being the person you were made to be. Each one of you has something no one else has, or has ever had: your fingerprints, your brain, your heart. Be an individual. Be unique. Stand out. Make noise. Make someone notice. That's the power of individuals. Life may not be the party you wanted, but while we’re here, we should dance! If you stand for nothing, you fall for anything. All these words are to be thought about. Live, Love and Laugh. You never know what you can do until you try. Writing this is hard, but I shall keep going for it gives a purpose. A goal without a plan is just a wish. To have a rainbow there has to be rain. People go without everyday of our life. What do you do to help? Are you one to sit by and watch or do you take action? Do you help? Volunteer? We are all together in this big world, so while we are here, be the best you can and help. Help mother earth, help your neighbor. Save a life. Adopt your next pet by taking a stray and giving it a home. We all need love, two legs or 4 paws. Be kind to all. It’s impossible. said pride. It’s risky. said experience. It’s pointless. said reason. Give it a try. whispered the heart. How do you think? With your heart or with your head? What are your rules to live by? Do you have a favorite place to go in life? Do you sit and watch the world go by on a warm sunny day? Are you happy? Are you sad? Do you feel safe, secure and loved? Stay true to who you are, follow your heart and you shall overcome anything. Even in darkness light dawns for those who believe. What is your faith? Faith in God above? Faith in yourself? Instead of fighting the wind, enjoy the breeze. Be safe and secure in what you do. Be strong, keep going and never give up on something you really want. Do you know what you really want in life? Is your life fulfilling? Do you understand why you are here? If you change your thoughts, you can change your world. I am coming up upon 1000 words. This has been enlightening and fun. It was also very difficult and I thank you Richie Sambora for the opportunity.
Go ahead and give it a try. I suggest you look online for a word counter though, unless you like to count. And it takes longer than you think it does.
